A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government - Thomas Jefferson

I watch a lot of documentaries.  Yes, I take everything I see and hear with a grain of salt.  Even if half of what I learn is true, our government has screwed us royally.

Recently, I watched "Dan Rather Reports."  This was a show on copper mining in the Congo.  Preying upon the weak, which wealthy Americans have shown often are apt to do, when the Congo was at its weakest, a company in Phoenix swooped in with bribes and a seedy contract and bought the mining rights with promises of assistance to the Congolese people.  These people needed their homes rebuilt, medical care, food and water, as well as jobs.  They received none of this.  The Arizona company became filthy rich.  President Bush, et al, had interests in this company.  This story, among hundreds of other stories like this, is the reason America is in crisis.  This is pure greed.

Our government is taking from the mouths of labor and the money it has earned.  They are living high on the hog at our expense.  If you study up on state government, the mortgage companies and what they have done to us, the stock market (golden parachutes), our health care (or lack thereof), our oil prices, our schools, etc., you will be in utter shock.

I am from Florida.  First, I see its deterioration daily.  Second, and still totally bewildered why nothing has been done, Jeb Bush became governor of our state before President Bush was elected.  Jeb stayed long enough to not look overtly suspicious, and after his term was up, he disappeared into the night never to be seen or heard from again.  There was also a documentary about that election year and how it was fixed, the paper company that changed the paper used for ballots (that Jeb Bush had monetary interest in) so they would not punch correctly and so on.

September 11, 2001 was a disaster of epic proportions.  A man named Osama Bin Laden masterminded a plot to destroy America.  America, and rightfully so, wanted retribution and people from all over America volunteered to enter the various military branches to bring that terrorist's head back on a platter.  We were all hungry for revenge.  We don't hear Osama's name much anymore and haven't for several years.  Now, we have hundreds of injured/maimed soldiers wondering what it was all for.  I wonder too.  The only thought that continually runs through my head when I think of this "war" is that our government thinks the average American citizens are idiots and how easily they have pulled one over on us.  Iraq has lots of oil.  Bush is an oil man.  Conflict of interest?

Did you know that long, long ago, a man, a brilliant man, came up with a way to design a car without needing gas?  He went to the government to sell his idea.  He was murdered and all of his documentation disappeared.

Did you know that the oil companies have had record sales in the past many years, grossing billions per month?  Yet, we are waiting in lines to get gas.  To fill up a tank would buy a week's worth of groceries.  Do you honestly think it is because we are out of oil?

Do you think it is possible that our public schools are the worst they have ever been, and that our children are the dumbest they have ever been because our government planned it that way?  Who will question the government and its tactics when they are not smart enough to ask?

Do you think it possible that Americans are working longer hours and making less to make it harder for us to take extra time to boycott our government?

"I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations. - James Madison

The content in the videos above is the reason President Bush won the election.  I was unable to find the entire video on You Tube, and one important fact you are unable to see/hear is that Governor Jeb Bush of Florida at that time was responsible for changing the paper company used by Sequoia to create the ballots.  The entire video can be downloaded off ITunes.

Add the Movie "Recount" to your list of must see's.
